The Los Angeles Unit Football Association has a distinct reputation for being one of the most prestigious officiating organizations in California. Established in 1912, the L.A. Unit has provided quality football officials to high schools, junior colleges, various NCAA college conferences and Los Angeles/San Fernando Valley Pop Warner associations.
Our unit currently has a membership of 130 officials who serve 49 high schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District. We are staffed with an excellent instructional crew who collectively bring a wealth of knowledge in sports officiating to our association.
A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a geniune passion for the game of football are the basic requirements necessary to become a Los Angeles Unit Official.
